The Vermilion Festival Of The Fish is a great place to go with the entire family! With a variety of food options, pop-up shops and activities for all ages, what more could you ask for?

Alex and I were so excited to attend the festival, since neither of us had ever been before. The second we got there, I started to smell all of the awesome food and was suddenly torn between which delicious item to buy. The festival had blooming onions, funnel cakes, ice cream and fresh lemonade to name a few options! It was really nice walking around the festival, and getting a chance to look at all of the different pop-up shops. One of my favorites was a shop that sold all different types of crystals.

The shop was unique, and offered a large variety of crystals that were made into necklaces, bracelets and other random things.IMG_1484 I really enjoyed looking at the crystals, because they are something I don’t see everyday. I also noticed they sold different styles of rings. (I had to stop myself from buying them all if we’re being honest.)

Another thing I loved about being at the festival was that there was truly something for everyone. There were air brush tattoos, a beauty pageant, a bounce house and even a rock climbing wall! (I wished I was 10 again so I could jump in the bounce house, but it’s fine.) The festival was really interesting and unique from any other festival I’ve ever attended because it offered a lot more than just food. I had a great time looking at all of the pop-up shops.

I also really enjoyed watching people take part in the different activities throughout the day. Something cool to watch was people attempting to climb a huge rock wall and trying to make it all the way to the top. Being at the festival, you could tell that Vermilion is a very close community and really cares about one another. I look forward to attending more festivals and events there in the near future!
